Rustington Hall organised activities and events surrounding mindfulness, relaxation and provided information regarding mental health conditions to take part in Mental Health Awareness Week 11th - 15th of May. Events included a guided meditation provided by Angie Lalic with use of Templespa products, a green buffet for wear it green day and a tea and talk.

Wishing our very own Sammy Hydes - Customer Relations Manager the best of luck ahead of tomorrows national finals of the #GreatBritishCareAwards ! The awards are being held in Birmingham with the Rustington Hall Team, Committee Members and Resident Families in attendance. Sammy provides invaluable support to Residents, Families and Friends of Rustington Hall and regardless of award we recognize all of the hard work that is put into ensuring those within our care get outstanding treatment/experiences and she will always be a winner to us!.

Rustington Hall Nursing & Care Home is so proud to share that two of our staff members have been nominated within categories of 2 prestigious care awards.
Arinola Ojo - Healthcare Assistant has earned her spot as a finalist for the National Care awards within the Care Newcomer Category.
Sammy Hydes - Customer Relations Manager is in the running for the End of Life Champion Award accredited by the Great British Care Awards as recognition for her work and commitment to palliative care.
We are so thrilled for both members of the team and lucky to be able to share the amazing care and dedication shown by our team and have it recognized on a national level.
We wish them both the best of luck!

With support from the local community Rustington Hall was able to host our annual Rustington Hall Revival car and motor show. We wish to thank all that attended and especially those who showcased their vehicles.

Our wonderful kitchen team achieved another 5* food hygiene inspection rating by the inspectors this week! We are very proud of Lorraine and the team as they work so hard to provide high quality food and meals to the residents all day, everyday!

We are really pleased to announce that on 23rd July Rustington Hall received the menopause friendly organisation accreditation.
In order to achieve this Rustington Hall was assessed by an independent panel and had to demonstrate evidence of its effectiveness in five key areas: culture, policies and practices, training, engagement and working environment.
Industry-recognised and the only accreditation that sets clear standards which must be met, the Menopause Friendly Accreditation is truly meaningful and considered as a mark of excellence for menopause in the workplace. It acknowledges employers who have demonstrated the positive impact of their actions in supporting people experience menopause.
Deborah Garlick, CEO and Founder of Henpicked: Menopause in the Workplace made the following comment:
โRustington Hall impressed our panel by showing how the culture change started with staff requests for help and shared lived experiences readily taken on board by senior leaders to bring about some all-important adjustments. Despite being a small organisation, they have engaged with a good range of training and 80% of their staff have already benefitted from this. Furthermore, the organisation tracks data to chart its progress and this proved to our panel that menopause is strongly embedded in its culture.โ

Today, we honor the bravery and sacrifice of those who fought for freedom during World War II. VE Day marks the end of a conflict that shaped our world, and we are proud to commemorate this historic day with our residents.
Events included Union Jack themed attire and dรฉcor, anniversary service and 30's - 40's era entertainment.

This years Christmas event included live reindeer, Father Christmas, a homemade winter wonderland and enough mince pies and mulled wine to weigh down a sleigh!.
Rustington Hall wishes to thank both its staff team and local community for ensuring that once again this event is the best it can be for our Residents.

One day - Two events

least favorite was the Christmas Pudding & Custard stout!

We sampled Italian red & white wine and larger, followed by pizza and cakes whilst listening to Italian music
