Memorial Event

21 September, 2022

A Memorial Service was held at Rustington Hall to honour and reflect on the memories of our Residents who have passed both during the pandemic and at times not affected by restrictions. Family and Friends were invited to attend our evening memorial service with light refreshments and harpist before adding to our memory stone garden shrine and taking time to reminisce with staff, other relatives and resident by sharing fond times.

It was truly a joy to see old friends of Rustington Hall and share in the times spent with us.



Rustington Hall Revival

A huge thank you to the motoring community for bringing an array of vintage vehicles for our residents to enjoy on this hot summer day!

A wonderful afternoon had by all with demonstrations, tea, cake and live entertainment.

Pride 2022

26 July, 2022

Rustington Hall celebrated its third annual pride event, the event included entertainment, singing, and a chance to engage with staff in a water battle. Foods and all areas of the home were decorated with the traditional rainbow colours to symbolize pride and information regarding the LGBTQIA+ community to raise awareness was available.

With the help of the team at the Wave - Littlehampton we were able to make a residents dream come true to once again swim. We want to thank our team for their commitment to this wish and Wave for the organisation and use of equipment to make this a special day.

Lunch by the River

Residents enjoyed Lunch with a view with a trip to the Arun View, Littlehampton. Sun, Sea and Scampi!

Swim 22 Challenge

22 June, 2022

Today was the last day of the Swim22 challenge for Diabetes UK.
Customer Relations Manager Sammy Hydes swam a total of 48.1 miles and Staff Liaison Kelly Mosdell swam a total of 11.03 miles!
Together they have raised over £500 for Diabetes UK.
Residents were able to attend Littlehampton Wave Centre to support the team meet their goals and raise money for a worth cause.

Well done team!

Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

Rustington Hall hosted a number of events and activities throughout the  Platinum Jubilee Celebrations, these included live singing, family and community activities and many other internal events, we wish to thank all those that attended and assisted the Society to celebrate this landmark achievement on behalf of her majesty. 

25 Years of Service

Today we celebrated Kym's 25th year of service for the Littlehampton and Rustington Housing Society and Rustington Hall Nursing Home. As an organisation we wish to thank Kym for her long term employment providing person centered care to those throughout the years, and through major changes and structural adaptations as Rustington Hall grew and adapted to the times.


Once again, Thank you Kym! Here's to 25 more years!

VE Day Celebrations

Celebrations were underway today to commemorate the Victory in Europe in 1945, residents dressed in union jack apparel and enjoyed themed entertainment.

Red Nose Day

Today Rustington Hall staff and residents sported red to support Red Nose Day 2022.

Alpaca Visit

17 March, 2022

Rustington Hall received an interactive visit from Luke and Oscar from Dunreyth Alpacas at Adsdean park, Chichester.

Residents were able to get up close and personal with our fluffy friends with an informative talk.


World Book Day

Today Rustington Hall celebrated World Book Day with staff  representing their favorite characters, the event included decorations and a classic literature quiz.

Reptilian Encounter

Today Rustington Hall we were able to get up close and personal with a range of Lizards, Snakes and arachnids, which included an informative discussion about each creature. Thank you to the team at Rep-Tyler!  

Love is in the air

Rustington Hall wants to wish all its Residents and Staff a happy Valentines day.
Residents were supported to host a romantic lunch with loved ones. Roses, Love Hearts and Chocolate were plentiful! l 💘

100th Birthday Celebrations

Today we were honored to celebrate the 100th Birthday of one of our long standing residents, Queen Elizabeth II provided a letter to mark the great achievement. Happy birthday! Many happy returns!

Welcome Marcin Szczepaniak!

27 January, 2022

Marcin Szczepaniak joined the society December 2021 and has now settled into his new role as Registered Manager.

Marcin oversees the operations of the nursing and care home, including admissions, overall staffing and facilities. He ensures that all regulations are adhered to and functioning correctly, including compliance with the Care Quality Commission.

Christmas Celebrations

Christmas is in full swing starting with a visit from Santa's Reindeer and the elves are hard at work in the Workshop! Perhaps a special visitor will be joining us in our own Grotto! Mulled wine and Mince pies for all!.....Of course Rusty could not miss the opportunity to play in the sleigh......

Christmas is in full swing at Rustington Hall with the addition this year of an Elf workshop and Reindeer display within the front entrance area. Residents have also enjoyed our daily festive activities! 

Oldest known Arundel Mullet honored by Arundel Town Council

We are proud to say that one of our Residents has has been honoured with the presentation of a silver salver by Arundel Town Council, marking her 100th birthday and being on record for the oldest person currently born in Arundel. We could not be happier for her!


Remembrance Day

12 November, 2021

Rustington Hall residents and staff paid respects with a 1 minute silence to commemorate Remembrance Day. Residents created poppy's with wool and other materials to honor to those lost.

Birds of a Feather

05 November, 2021

Rustington Hall residents today were lucky to be visited by birds of prey in an interactive, hands on session.


Residents were able to hold and admire these beautiful birds with an informative talk included to provide information on the origins and lifestyles of our winged friends.

Language Session with Residents

Today we had the pleasure of a German Language session hosted by one of our very own residents, this included basic phrases, objects and introductions, staff were also welcome to join and share experiences regarding German culture and time spent during the years in Europe. Wunderbar! sehr gut!

Reptile House Visit

Today we got up close and personal with creepy crawlies and scaly critters, our residents enjoyed an interactive learning experience, with addition of being able to hold and touch their reptilian guests.   Thank you to Reptyler for the amazing experience!
