Oakhurst Gardens
Each home is connected to a 24-hour emergency call system, providing reassurance that assistance is always available if needed. Residents can enjoy independent living with the confidence that help is close at hand.
Our on-site maintenance team undertakes most repairs and is available to assist residents with a range of practical maintenance issues, helping to keep homes safe, comfortable and well maintained.
Residents have access to a range of convenient facilities, including a fully equipped modern laundry, a library and our welcoming village hall, which serves as a hub for social activities and community events.
We also offer a comfortable guest suite for relatives and friends visiting from further afield. This popular facility enables loved ones to stay nearby and is available for a modest charge.
A varied programme of activities and social events takes place throughout the year, providing opportunities for residents to meet new people, pursue interests and enjoy an active social life.
Many events are held in the village hall, and residents are encouraged to socialise with both their neighbours at Oakhurst Gardens and residents of our nearby residential and nursing homes.
Regular outings are organised using the Society's own minibus, ranging from local shopping trips to visits to places of interest, garden centres, theatres and other attractions.
Oakhurst Gardens enjoys a convenient location with a range of local amenities within easy reach. A post office, pharmacy, Angmering railway station and convenience shops are all approximately a ten-minute walk away, and there are two GP surgeries nearby.
The surrounding villages and coastline are easily accessible by road and public transport. Churches representing a range of denominations, along with local community centres, are also close by. Bus services to Worthing and Littlehampton stop adjacent to the development, making travel straightforward for residents and visitors alike.
