Advice Before Visiting The Home
At this time of year there is often an increase in the levels of illness within the community, this can range from a common cough or colds through to influenza and pneumonia. There is also generally higher levels of illness caused by Norovirus, which is the most common stomach bug in the UK, this can lead to vomiting and diarrhoea in people of all ages.
To help the health of the vulnerable people in our care, please don’t visit the home if you have an illness similar to any of these. If you have any queries about what you should do when visiting at this time of year, please call us and we can talk to you from then.
Environmental Health Visit 2017
5 stars again!
We are delighted to be able to announce that we have received another Level 5 in the food hygiene rating, at Rustington Hall, this is the 6th year in a row, and it is an achievement that we are very proud of.
On Thursday 7th December 2017, Environmental Health came for their annual unannounced inspection. At the end of their inspection they confirmed that we had again received the highest food hygiene rating possible. We would like to congratulate all staff involved on this brilliant achievement.
LRHS Property Management Grows Again!
On 2nd October 2017 LRHS commissioned the management of a property in Littlehampton. The property will be used to accommodate five single people with another three rooms used for ’emergency’ accommodation. This is the first time we have managed emergency accommodation and it is a very exciting new project for us all.
And on 9th October 2017 we commissioned a seven property in Bognor Regis – again this will be used to accommodate seven individual people.
With the addition of the two latest properties LRHS now successfully manage a total of 21 properties used for shared accommodation equating to 123 individual tenancies.
LRHS continue to manage over 60 properties used for family accommodation and we now have 32 different property owners using our management service.
‘Blooming Marvellous Results’
We are really pleased to announce the achievement of the highest levels at South & South East in Bloom award ceremony on 20th September 2017. Both Oakhurst Gardens and Rustington Hall achieved a Level 5 for the second year running with Sally Morris and Colin Hills receiving the certificates.
The results are the reflection of just how stunning our gardens are with both sites looking truly magnificent this year.
So now it’s time to get our thinking caps on so we can plan our entries for 2018.
