Rustington Hall is a Care Quality Commission (CQC) dual registered Residential Nursing and Care Home, which can meet a wide range of personal needs for older people, within a supportive environment.
We have an outstanding reputation and an excellent CQC regulatory history.
The Clinical Team is led by a Clinical Nurse Manager who working with three Senior Nurses to support a team of qualified and experienced registered nurses. The Nursing Team are supported by a highly motivated and friendly team of care staff who are experienced in providing care for older people. Our housekeeping, catering, reception and maintenance teams ensure that non-clinical services are responsive and achieve high standards.
Rustington Hall provides a service that maximises choice and minimises unnecessary routine. Our approach is ‘How Can We’ NOT ‘Why Can’t We’! We provide Person Centred Care that meets residents’ emotional, psychological and physical needs.
A named Nurse/Keyworker is assigned to each resident and a mutually agreed care plan is undertaken to ensure that every aspect of care and those personal touches are satisfied.
Our Service Users Handbook explains our charitable values and the standards of service that residents, and those who care for them, can expect.
A Nurse/Care call system is installed in every room and all communal areas so that residents may obtain responsive assistance at any time.
All rooms are furnished and equipped to high standards and offer en-suites, colour free-view televisions, internet network, direct dial telephones and modern beds. We have a large variety of different sized character rooms with various outlooks.
We encourage residents to bring in personal furniture and furnishings and our maintenance team will place shelves and pictures to meet preferences.
Our rooms have an impressive attention to detail, such as windows being low enough to view by someone in bed, or in seated in an armchair.
We have eight assisted bathrooms, which have the latest equipment so that bathing or showering is beneficial, safe and comfortable. Independent bathing or showers are available for those able to manage without assistance.
Our trained catering team offer a wide range of choice at breakfast lunch and supper and wherever possible source high-quality meat, fish and vegetables. All food is freshly cooked in our modern kitchen. All dietary requirements and preferences are catered for and we serve fresh fruit, snacks and beverages throughout the day.
Visitors are welcome at any time and may dine with us for a modest charge. Arrangements can be made for any resident and his/her guest(s) to dine privately.
There is a guest suite for the convenience of relatives and friends visiting from a distance. This facility, for which a modest charge is made, is always in high demand.
The home has two good size lounges and a separate room, which can either be used as a quiet room or to entertain friends and family in private.
The main lounge hosts an extensive programme of activities and residents and visitors are encouraged to participate. There are regular exercise classes to encourage flexible movement and reminiscence sessions. Each month we have a variety of musical and non-musical entertainers, tea parties, bingo, quizzes, film afternoons and numerous other activities. We have regular mini bus trips to local places of interest such as garden centres, cafés, shops, National Trust and Heritage gardens and the seafront.
Our grounds include secluded gardens, two courtyards, terraces, verandas and a beautiful gazebo, where residents can enjoy a walk, fresh air or just enjoy some peace and quiet.
Weekly fees start from £946 per week for ‘Residential Care’ and £1,105 per week for Nursing Care, subject to assessment.
Residents receiving nursing services are usually eligible for a free nursing fee contribution from the NHS which currently provides £156.25 per week.
